This week the annual Apple Technology love-in known as Macworld is going on in San Francisco. In these days of diminishing Trade Shows, this show not only survives, it thrives. This is a show for all enthusiasts, fans and users of Apple technology. Walking through the the set up today, I observed row after row of booths that will be selling products to users of iPhones and iPads, and iPods, and of course Macs. There are many consumer-oriented users of all of this technology, and at xTuple, we continue to see these consumers dragging their Apple passion back into the workplace.
Apple technology in business, like Apple's stock price, is on the rise.
We set up the booth today (see picture at left), the show starts tomorrow (Thursday, January 27), and runs though Saturday. The Macworld group sets up a special section for those companies that have products and services catering to the business users. We are in a special area call the "Indie Spotlight" section. We are expecting the usual great show for xTuple. The number of companies showing their wares this year is up 10%. They expect the number of attendees to be up over the 10's of thousands that made the pilgrimage last year.
If you are in the San Francisco area, and can make the show, please come by. If you would like a free pass to the Expo, send me an email, and we'll send you a pass via email. If you can't come out, check out the website. See the all the vendors that are participating. It's a great show. Even if you are not an over-the-top-Apple fan, there is still a lot to see. And we would love to meet more of the xTuple community.
