Long-time open source advocate and xTuple customer launches business to provide software solutions to fellow manufacturers in Pacific Northwest
xTuple, global leader in commercial open source business management software for growing companies, announces its partnership with the newly formed consultancy, Jacobs ERP Solutions LLC. xTuple and Jacobs together will deliver enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology solutions to small- to medium-sized distributors and manufacturers in the American Pacific Northwest, covering the states of Idaho, Washington, Montana and Utah.
Most recently, founder Wes Jacobs served as general manager for a small Ohio-based manufacturing company, Creamer Metal, that implemented xTuple Enterprise Edition. After 40 years of manufacturing management experience, 30 years of which were spent in actively implementing and managing ERP systems, Wes decided he could help others grow their businesses with modern software tools. His experience with successful implementations of xTuple at two different growth-oriented organizations worked so well that he decided to sell and implement the ERP software to others with similar operational needs.
Wes’s background includes continuous improvement, from HP pull manufacturing to the Toyota production system, and he has in-depth knowledge in change management. Wes has implemented Kaizen events, including daily associate huddles to visual constraint boards to bring visibility to process waste.
