Using 5.0.0 Production
I have a Qdialog which is set to NonModal. This dialog in turn displays, when a button is clicked, another QDialog which I also want set to NonModal.
Now, the first QDialog is called form a QWidget that is embedded in a tab in the Account screen,
The reason I am setting both to NonModal is for debugging purposes.
No matter what I do, the second QDialog is always Modal.
I set the windowModaility in the UI to NonModal
and make sure , since this is a QDialog, the modal property under the QDialog section is NOT checked.
To reinforce, my desires, in the script I add
mydialog.modal = false;
and the line from the first QDialog that calls the second QDialog is
var newdlg = toolbox.openWindow("edit_template", mywindow, Qt.NonModal, Qt.Dialog );
I also tried changing the mywindow to mydialog to mywidget, also failed.
So what do I have to do to make the second QDialog NonModal.
I have this funny feeling, the QT Script always makes the second QDialog modal no matter what you do.
Please do not ask me to litter my script with message boxes, I have a complex Reg Expression that requires me to look at the debugger Scopes to check the function and the results.
