The French PostgreSQL community (PostgreSQLFr) has just announced a call for projects targeting "PostgreSQL and the French speaking community". It turns out PostgreSQLFr has raised more money than it needs, and so the group is looking for ways to give some of their money away. On the list of eligible projects is the following: "French translation of a PostgreSQL ecosystem software". How about xTuple, for example?
Here is a direct link to the announcement:
If anyone in our community is interested in a project like this, I encourage you to apply. This would be a great opportunity to earn some extra money, as you finish the xTuple translation into French.
As of today, only the Spanish:Mexico translation project for xTuple is at 100%. By comparison, the French translation project stands at 51%.
