Those two screenshots are for the same user (me) with the same permissions but logged in on different computers. The only reason I even knew the datagrids (that is what they are called in a MS programming world ... I have no idea what the object is called in QT) were missing is because I logged in as myself after installing the client on the controller's computer.
That said, I just went to the CFO's computer who has Windows 10 and the datagrids are there. So, it's something with my computer.
My first attempt at installing the xTuple server was last week. I had the 4.10 client installed but I could not get any of it to work. So, I redid the server and used xtuple-utility.sh -a for an automatic install. That time I ended up with 4.11.2 which required an updated client. That client does not have an actual install so it's sitting on my hard drive and I uninstalled 4.10.
Is it possible that there are remnants of it somewhere that are conflicting?
