How do i adjust inventory for items used internally

I need to adjust my inventory for items that we use to ship out packages. Example, i sell a 12 x 12 x 12 carton but i used 25 of them to ship out other packages that we sold to a customer so since they are not sold and used as packaging i need to remove them from inventory and expense them how do i do that? another example, we sell clear tape, we removed a case from our sellable inventory and put for our use, how does that get removed and expensed properly, i am using Post books 3.8.0

@georgeonepack, did you ever receive a response to this forum entry? If not, were you able to resolve it on your own, and if so, how did you do it? Thanks! Elliott
