Arabic translation of xTuple ERP

We are happy to announce that Arabic has been added to the list of translation projects for xTuple ERP, thanks to the recent contribution of a community member in Egypt. To download this translation or to join the project and help with the remaining work, please visit http://www.xtuple.org/translate.

One note for anyone who wants to use the Arabic .QM file at their site. To ensure that the translation reads properly in xTuple ERP (that is, from right-to-left), you will need to launch the xTuple application from the command line with the following parameter: -reverse. If you do not add this option when launching xTuple ERP, the translated text will not display in the proper direction.

This is a known issue, as reported here: http://www.xtuple.org/issuetracker/view.php?id=9023. Our developers will be working to include bi-directional lanugage support into the application so that in the future you will not need to use a command line parameter when starting the application.

Best regards,

Pierce

Hi,

I am new to xTyple ERP. But I will try hard to understand how to use it.
However, I copied the Arabic translation file into the same folder of the executable. I followed the steps thru the System menue to add new Locale.
after selecting Arabic the system stuck and displayed

Error: Invalid Input Syntax for integer: “2”
Report this to your system administrator

I tried to change the integers “2” with no success.
